The RKO Army is a shadowcast based out of Rhode Island primarily performing in the southern New England area since 1981. We have had on-going runs at dozens of cinemas over the decades. We have also performed as guests at a long list of theaters, conventions, universities, clubs, and parades.  

Known primarily for our legendary performances of the Rocky Horror Picture Show, we have mastered other fan-favorite productions.  The current list of alternative productions includes Shock Treatment, REPO! The Genetic Opera,  Doctor Horrible’s Sing-A-Long Blog, Buffy the Vampire Slayer’s “Once More with Feeling”, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, The Room, Reefer Madness, and our self-made RKO Horror Picture Show.  

We have hosted the National Rocky Horror Conventions for the 38th, 41st, 44th, and 47th Anniversaries. We will host the 50th anniversary in Providence in 2025.

We are a non-profit. RKO Army is the DBA for Shadowcasting Community Arts.
